Yankee Hill Mini QD Flash Hider 5.56x45mm NATO 1/2x36 Black Phosphate Steel

The Yankee Hill Mini QD Flash Hider is the muzzle-device end of YHM's quick-detach suppressor mounting system, built for 5.56x45mm NATO AR-platform rifles that use a 1/2"-36 thread pattern. On its own, it tames muzzle flash, and once installed it locks straight into YHM fast-attach sound suppressors with no tools or adapters, letting the shooter swap hosts quickly and repeatably.

Machined from steel and finished in a rugged black phosphate coating that holds up under repeated suppressor mount cycles and field use, the Mini QD is engineered to live at the business end of a QD system. At just 2.13" overall length and roughly 3.3 oz, it adds minimal weight and length to the host rifle while still delivering the flash-reduction performance the YHM Mini QD line is recognized for.

Mounting is straightforward: confirm your host firearm is threaded for the matching 1/2"-36 tpi pitch, then install with a standard crush washer or shim timing method and torque to your rifle manufacturer's recommended specification. From there, it is ready for both standalone flash suppression and direct, tool-less attachment of any compatible YHM fast-attach suppressor.
