Built around a rugged steel frame finished in black oxide, the R3D 2.0 is XS Sights' second-generation R3D design. The dual-illuminated green tritium front sight provides a bright, self-powered aiming point that draws the eye for faster front-focus, while the rear sight uses XS's wide-notch profile that increases ambient light visibility on either side of the front post for quicker alignment in poor lighting. The rear tritium vials are rated 50% brighter than the original R3D for improved visibility at night.

Designed at suppressor height, the set sits tall enough to co-witness with a slide-mounted optic or to clear a threaded barrel fitted with a sound suppressor, giving you a usable iron-sight picture even with a red dot or muzzle device in place. Installation is straightforward thanks to XS Sights' EasyPress system, which requires no filing or hammering when fitting the sights to the slide.
