The Winchester XPR Hunter Compact is a bolt-action centerfire rifle built on the proven XPR platform and sized down for smaller-statured shooters and youth hunters. This compact configuration pairs a 20" barrel with a reduced 13" length of pull, making the rifle easier to shoulder and shoot from a bench, a treestand, or in tight cover.

Chambered in 223 Remington, the XPR Hunter Compact feeds from a detachable box magazine with a 5-round capacity. The barrel wears a matte grey finish paired with a black synthetic stock for a two-tone gray-and-black matte appearance. A Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad at the butt helps soften felt recoil. The rifle ships without iron sights, ready for the shooter to mount their preferred optic.

Weighing approximately 6.8 lbs with an overall length of 39.25", this compact XPR is classified as a sporting rifle on a short action.
