The Winchester XPR Extreme Hunter is a purpose-built hunting rifle chambered in 223 Rem and built around a rugged bolt-action short-action platform. Its 22-inch threaded sporter barrel comes from the factory with a muzzle brake installed for reduced recoil and faster follow-up shots, while the steel receiver and barrel wear a tough Tungsten Gray Cerakote finish built to stand up to harsh weather and backcountry abuse.

Feeding from a detachable box magazine for a 5+1 capacity, the XPR Extreme Hunter uses Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger System for a clean, crisp pull, paired with a two-position safety at the rear of the bolt for fast, intuitive operation. The rifle ships with no iron sights installed, allowing the shooter to mount their preferred optic directly to the receiver.

A fixed composite stock finished in TrueTimber Midnight digital camouflage gives the rifle a stealthy, all-weather look for hunters who want to blend in at the stand or in the field. Set up for right-hand shooters, the stock mates to a 1:8-inch twist barrel well suited for stabilizing a wide range of 223 Rem bullet weights.
