Winchester XPR Compact 6.5 PRC 22" 3+1 Bolt Action Rifle

The Winchester XPR Compact is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC, purpose-built for the next generation of Winchester hunters. Part of the proven XPR family, this Compact variant delivers the rugged reliability and precision of the full-size XPR in a shorter, lighter package well suited to smaller-framed shooters, youth hunters, and anyone who prefers a more nimble handling rifle in the field.

At the core of the XPR Compact is a 22" button-rifled barrel finished in Gray Perma-Cote and topped with a recessed target crown for consistent accuracy across a wide variety of 6.5 PRC bullet weights. The barrel is paired with a 1:8" twist rate and matched to a steel receiver wearing the same Gray Perma-Cote finish. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting, and the rifle ships with no iron sights installed so the shooter can mount optics directly to the action.

The action is built around Winchester's proven bolt design and is outfitted with the M.O.A. Trigger System for a clean, precise pull, along with a two-position safety for safe handling. The rifle feeds from a 3-round detachable box magazine, giving a total 3+1 capacity. The Compact configuration keeps the overall length at 41.25" while weighing in at approximately 7 lbs.

The stock is a fixed synthetic design finished in Matte Black, with a profile scaled down from the full-length XPR for improved ergonomics on smaller frames. This is a right-hand configuration and ships as a complete rifle from Winchester Repeating Arms.
