The Winchester SXP Defender is a purpose-built pump-action shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge with a 3" chamber and an 18" steel barrel, designed for personal protection and hard use. The matte black barrel and matte black receiver pair with a fixed stock outfitted with textured grip panels for confident, slip-free handling.

The SXP action runs with a positive, deeply-grooved forearm for control and quick follow-up shots. The receiver is drilled and tapped for accessory mounting, and the crossbolt safety sits within easy reach for intuitive operation. A bead sight keeps the sight picture clean and fast to acquire at close range. The Invector-Plus choke system ships with a cylinder choke installed, well-suited to buckshot and slug patterns at defensive distances. Capacity is 5+1 rounds of 2.75" shells.

The 18" barrel features a chrome-plated bore for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning through varied defensive loads. Built for right-handed shooters, the SXP Defender measures 38.50" overall and weighs 6.08 lbs, light enough to maneuver in tight spaces while still being heavy enough to help manage recoil.
