The Winchester SX4 Cantilever Buck is a purpose-built semi-auto slug gun chambered in 12 Gauge, designed to deliver fast, accurate follow-up shots on deer-sized game with a fully-rifled barrel and an integrated optics-ready mount. The 22" barrel is fully rifled to stabilize sabot slugs and pairs with a 3" chamber that accepts both 2-3/4" and 3" shells. A drilled-and-tapped Weaver-style cantilever rail is included, allowing a scout-style or traditional scope to be mounted directly over the bore for superior point-of-aim alignment.

At the heart of the SX4 is Winchester's proven semi-auto action with a 4+1 capacity. The receiver is machined from black aluminum for a lightweight yet durable package, tipping the scales at 7.80 lbs with an overall length of 43". A crossbolt safety sits behind the trigger guard for intuitive, gloved-hand operation, and the drop-out trigger group allows for simplified cleaning and maintenance.

The stock is a fixed black synthetic full-size design with improved ergonomics, a rounder grip, and textured gripping surfaces for a positive, non-slip hold in any weather. Sights include a TruGlo fiber-optic front paired with an adjustable rear sight for quick target acquisition when a scope is not mounted. The barreled action wears a non-glare matte black / blued finish throughout to keep the shooter concealed in the field.
