The Winchester Model 70 Extreme VSX is a purpose-built hunting bolt-action rifle chambered in .308 Winchester and finished in Tungsten Gray Cerakote over a steel receiver and barrel for weather-ready corrosion resistance. Built on the legendary Model 70 action, this rifle pairs a 22" free-floating barrel with an installed muzzle brake and a 1:12" twist for stabilized bullet flight across the standard .308 Win hunting weight range.

The action features Winchester's crisp M.O.A. Trigger System tuned for a clean, adjustable pull, paired with a proven three-position safety for safe carry and handling in the field. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optic mounting, allowing shooters to fit their preferred scope base and rings without factory sights interfering with sight picture or bedding.

Housed in a fixed Bell & Carlson synthetic stock finished in TrueTimber VSX concealment camo, the Model 70 Extreme VSX is sculpted with a comfortable cheekpiece and textured grip surfaces for confident handling in cold or wet conditions. At 42.25" overall and weighing approximately 6.12 lbs, this right-hand full-size configuration balances well for spot-and-stalk hunting and treestand work alike. The internal box magazine holds 5+1 rounds for typical hunting applications.
