The Winchester Model 70 Extreme is a bolt-action centerfire rifle chambered in .308 Winchester, purpose-built for hunting and hard field use. Built on the legendary Model 70 action, this Extreme variant pairs a free-floating barrel with a weatherproof synthetic stock for repeatable accuracy and reliability in adverse conditions.

The 22" free-floating steel barrel features a 1:12" twist and wears a Tungsten Gray Cerakote finish for corrosion resistance. A factory-installed muzzle brake tames felt recoil at the bench or in the field. The steel receiver is finished in matching Tungsten Cerakote, and the rifle ships with no iron sights installed so the shooter can mount their preferred optic directly to the action.

A Bell & Carlson fixed synthetic stock with a sculpted cheekpiece and a textured Charcoal Gray finish handles moisture, temperature swings, and rough use without the upkeep of wood. The M.O.A. Trigger System delivers a clean, user-adjustable pull, and a 3-position safety allows safe chambering and unloading. The rifle measures 42.25" overall, weighs 6.12 lbs, and holds 5+1 rounds of 308 Win. Configured for right-hand shooters.
