The Winchester Model 1892 Large Loop Carbine is a modern reissue of one of the most beloved lever-action rifles ever built, chambered in the historic .44-40 Win cartridge that made the original famous. Designed for the cowboy action shooter, traditional hunter, and lever-action enthusiast, this carbine pairs period-correct styling with current Winchester quality.

Built around a 20" steel barrel with a sporter contour and a traditional 1:36 twist, the Model 1892 features the classic carbine-style forearm and a large loop lever that accepts gloved hands comfortably - a nod to the saddle-ring and trail-riding heritage of the original 1892. The lever-action feeds from a full-length tubular magazine holding 10 rounds of .44-40.

The rifle wears a satin-finished walnut stock with traditional carbine lines and a classic blued finish on the steel metalwork. Steel construction keeps the package solid while keeping carry weight modest at 6 lbs.
