Winchester Guns XPR Extreme 243 Win 22" 3+1 Bolt Action Rifle - TrueTimber VSX Stock

The Winchester XPR Extreme is a purpose-built hunting rifle engineered to deliver dependable performance in harsh weather and rough terrain. Chambered in .243 Winchester, this bolt-action rifle combines a precision-rifled fluted and threaded barrel with a corrosion-resistant finish and a camouflaged synthetic stock to give hunters a ready-to-shoot package right out of the box.

At the core of the XPR Extreme is a 22" chromoly steel barrel that has been button-rifled to a 1:10" twist for outstanding accuracy with a wide range of bullet weights. The barrel is fluted to reduce overall weight and aid heat dissipation, threaded for the easy addition of a muzzle device or suppressor, and finished in Tungsten Cerakote for serious protection against the elements. A recessed target crown protects the muzzle from damage in the field.

The action rides on a drilled and tapped steel receiver with a short action bolt throw for fast, positive follow-up shots. Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger System delivers a clean, crisp pull, and a two-position safety keeps the rifle ready to fire when needed. The rifle ships with no iron sights installed, allowing the shooter to mount their preferred optic directly to the drilled and tapped receiver.

The fixed stock is a tough, weather-resistant synthetic unit finished in TrueTimber VSX camouflage, an open-country pattern well suited to western big-game hunting and treestand setups. The overall package weighs in at 6.12 lbs with an overall length of 42", making the XPR Extreme a balanced, packable rifle for long days in the field. The internal box magazine holds 3+1 rounds of .243 Win.
