The Winchester XPR Compact Scope Combo pairs Winchester's proven bolt-action hunting rifle with a factory-mounted Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40mm scope, delivering a ready-to-shoot package straight out of the box. Chambered in the flat-shooting .270 WSM (Winchester Short Magnum), this rifle is built for medium and large game across open terrain and timbered country alike. This version ships on the full-size stock.

At the core of the rifle is a 22-inch button-rifled, free-floating barrel finished in non-reflective Black Perma-Cote and capped with a recessed target crown for consistent bullet release and accuracy. The barrel is cut with a 1:10" twist to stabilize a wide range of bullet weights, and it mates to a steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for the included optic. Feeding is handled by a 3-round detachable box magazine, giving the XPR a 3+1 total capacity. The bolt uses Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger System for a clean, adjustable pull, and a traditional two-position safety sits at the tang for positive control.

The matte black synthetic stock is built around a full-size length of pull for right-handed shooters and provides a weather-resistant platform that shrugs off rough hunting conditions. The rifle weighs in at approximately 7 lbs with an overall length of 44", balancing nicely for spot-and-stalk or stand hunting. Iron sights are omitted; the receiver is factory-prepared and the included scope mounts directly using the supplied Weaver-style rings and bases.

The bundled Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40mm scope comes mounted to the rifle, featuring a BDC reticle calibrated for hunting loads and capped turrets for dependable field adjustments. With the optic installed and a loaded magazine, this XPR is ready for the range or the field the moment it arrives.
