The Winchester Xpert Target is a purpose-built bolt-action rifle chambered in 17 WSM (Winchester Super Magnum), built around an 18" matte black threaded barrel paired with a 1:9" rate of twist chosen to stabilize 17 WSM bullet weights. The muzzle is factory threaded for the easy addition of a suppressor or muzzle device.

At the heart of the action sits a matte black steel receiver topped with an integrated Picatinny optics rail, allowing the shooter to mount a scope directly with no rail-bedding fuss. The bottom metal feeds from a detachable box magazine, giving the rifle an 8+1 capacity for follow-up shots. An overall length of 38.25" keeps the rifle compact enough to maneuver from a vehicle or ground blind while extending the sight radius over the 18" barrel.

The stock is where the Xpert Target earns its name. A brown laminated thumbhole design provides an upright, vertical grip that sits naturally in the web of the shooting hand, helps manage felt recoil impulse, and gives the shooter a repeatable cheek weld for long sessions at the bench. The laminate construction is dimensionally stable across temperature and humidity swings, and the satin brown finish contrasts handsomely against the matte black barreled action.
