The Winchester SXP Trap Compact is a 20 Gauge slide-action trap shotgun purpose-built for fast follow-up shots and a compact, all-day fit. The SXP's signature inertia-assisted pump action keeps the gun cycling smoothly through long rounds of sporting clays and trap, while the compact 13-inch length-of-pull buttstock geometry lets a wider range of shooters get on the bird without over-shooting it.

A 30-inch back-bored vent rib barrel is chambered for 3-inch shells and feeds from a 4+1 capacity magazine tube. Pattern tuning is handled by the included Invector-Plus Flush choke set, with Full, Improved Modified, and Modified chokes shipping in the box. Target acquisition is straightforward thanks to a fiber optic front sight and an ivory mid bead riding on top of the ventilated rib.

The black aluminum receiver and barrel wear a non-glare matte black finish, paired with a fixed satin walnut Monte Carlo stock featuring a high-profile trap comb for a consistent cheek weld over the rib. A crossbolt safety sits at the trigger guard for positive engagement, and the drop-out trigger group drops free for cleaning.
