The Winchester SXP Extreme Defender Forged Carbon is a tactical 12 Gauge pump-action shotgun purpose-built for close-quarters home defense and personal protection. Built on Winchester's proven SXP pump-action platform, this Extreme Defender variant pairs an 18.5" stainless steel barrel with a durable Forged Carbon Gray composite stock featuring an adjustable cheek riser for proper optic alignment and a confident grip.

A 3" chamber accepts the full range of 12 Gauge shells, while the tubular magazine holds 5 rounds of 2.75" shells for defensive capability. The shotgun uses Winchester's Invector-Plus Flush choke system and ships with three interchangeable choke tubes - Full, Improved Cylinder, and Modified - so the shooter can tune patterns for buckshot, slug, or specialty defensive loads. With an overall length of 39.50" and a 7 lb weight, the Extreme Defender is compact and fast-handling in tight spaces and around the home.

The receiver is topped with a factory Picatinny rail ready for red dot or magnifier mounting, and the iron sighting system pairs an LPA front sight with a Ghost Ring rear sight for quick, intuitive target acquisition in low light. A crossbolt safety sits at the trigger guard for instinctive operation, and the textured stock and pump forearm keep the gun secure under recoil.
