The Winchester SX4 Waterfowl Hunter is a purpose-built 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun chambered for the potent 3.5" magnum shell, designed to handle tough late-season duck and goose hunting in flooded timber, marsh grass, and corn-stubble cover. The proven semi-auto action cycles a full range of 12-gauge shell lengths through the 3.5" chamber, from light target loads up through heavy magnum waterfowl payloads.

At the heart of the Waterfowl Hunter is a 28" vent rib barrel paired with a 4+1 tube capacity and a 3.5" chamber that accepts every common 12-gauge shell length. The barrel is threaded for Winchester's Invector-Plus flush choke system and ships with three interchangeable chokes - Full, Improved Cylinder, and Modified - giving the hunter the patterning versatility needed for everything from close-range pass shooting to longer decoy spreads. A bright fiber optic front sight sits atop the vent rib for fast, intuitive target acquisition in low light and over decoys.

The shotgun wears a complete Mossy Oak Bottomland camouflage pattern across the aluminum receiver and the fixed stock, breaking up the gun's outline against the wetland backgrounds where late-season waterfowl are pursued. A reversible crossbolt safety at the trigger guard accommodates both right- and left-handed shooters, and the drop-out trigger assembly simplifies routine cleaning and maintenance. An integrated length-of-pull spacer system allows the fit to be fine-tuned for different shooters or layered cold-weather clothing.
