The Winchester Model 70 Extreme Weather SS is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, engineered for hard use in the harshest field conditions. Its matte stainless steel receiver is paired with a 22" fluted barrel finished with a recessed target crown, shedding weight while protecting the bore from rough handling and foul weather.

The action wears Winchester's proven M.O.A. Trigger System for a crisp, user-adjustable pull, and a classic three-position safety that lets the shooter unload the chamber with the bolt locked. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics and the rifle ships with no iron sights, leaving the glass choice up to the shooter. A 1:8" twist stabilizes the full range of modern 6.5 Creedmoor bullet weights.

At the heart of the Extreme Weather package is a fixed Bell & Carlson composite stock with an integrated aluminum bedding block, giving the action a rock-solid, repeatable platform. The stock is finished in a distinctive black with gray webbing pattern that complements the matte stainless metalwork. The rifle tips the scales at 6.75 lbs and stretches 42.25" overall, making it a comfortable carry on long stalks. Right-hand configuration.
