The traditional cast lead flat nose projectile is seated in a brass case with a non-corrosive boxer primer. Reduced operating pressure and the soft lead bullet make this load an excellent choice for older single-action revolvers and lever-action rifles chambered in .44 Special, where full-power .44 Magnum loads would be excessive or hard on the shooter.
