The Winchester Long Beard XR Shot-Lok is a purpose-built 12 Gauge turkey load engineered to deliver the tightest patterns and longest shot capability of any traditional lead turkey load Winchester has ever offered. A 3" magnum hull is loaded with 1-3/4 oz of #4 copper-plated lead shot moving downrange at 1200 fps, putting roughly twice the pellets in a 10" circle out to 60 yards compared to standard lead turkey shells.

Winchester's proprietary Shot-Lok technology uses a resin seal to lock the shot payload together through the bore and well past the muzzle, dramatically reducing the deformation and pattern dispersion that plague conventional lead shot. The result is denser, more consistent patterns and substantially better penetration on tough tom turkeys at extended ranges - a real advantage when a longbeard steps out into the open and the choke is set tight.

Loaded specifically for turkey hunting with full-choked turkey guns, the Long Beard XR is supplied in 10-round boxes for a season in the field or in 100-round cases (10 boxes) for high-volume hunters stocking up.
