The Wilson Combat TREBS15SS is a heavy-duty buffer/recoil spring built specifically for .308/7.62mm AR-15 and M16-pattern rifles. Designed as a direct upgrade over standard mil-spec components, it is wound from 17-7 stainless steel round wire and given a clean silver finish that resists rust and corrosion in the field.

Wilson Combat engineered this spring to be roughly 5% heavier than a traditional mil-spec design, which helps smooth out the cycling action, reduces bolt bounce, and extends service life well beyond what an OEM spring delivers. The result is a more consistent operating cycle and longer intervals between replacement in the punishing environment of a .308-caliber direct-gas-impingement or piston AR platform.
