The Wilson Combat 614 Flat-Wire Recoil Spring Kit is a drop-in replacement recoil system purpose-built for full-size 5" .45 ACP 1911 pistols. It pairs a 17 Lb flat-wire recoil spring with a hardened .250" rod diameter recoil spring guide, delivering smoother cycling and a service life rated at 40,000 rounds.

Wilson Combat's flat-wire geometry replaces the conventional round-wire spring to improve consistency shot-to-shot and resist set under extended use. The chrome silicone steel spring and black-finished guide rod are tuned for standard-pressure and 230 gr. hardball-equivalent .45 ACP loads. The kit installs in place of the factory unit in any full-size 5" 1911 and is a smart upgrade for shooters refreshing a worn spring or tuning a duty, target, or carry gun.
