The Wilson Combat Bullet Proof Extractor is a premium drop-in replacement extractor built for 1911 Series 70 (Pre-80) pistols chambered in 45 ACP. Part of Wilson Combat's flagship Bullet Proof line, this extractor is fully machined from solid S7 tool steel - a shock-resistant alloy that Wilson Combat uses exclusively for this component - and finished in a deep blued coating for corrosion resistance and a factory-correct appearance on a traditional 1911.

Designed as a direct upgrade over the factory MIM or stamped extractor, the Bullet Proof extractor features an optimized hook design with location tolerances held to +/- .001" for maximum case rim contact and reliable extraction. Radiused corners help the claw glide over the case rim without blemish, while the through-hardened S7 body holds its geometry under repeated recoil spring tension. It is intended for gunsmiths and home builders looking to tune extraction on a 70-series 45 ACP 1911.
