Wilson Combat 25CO Full Length Guide Rod 1911 Officer's Model Stainless Steel

The Wilson Combat 25CO is a full-length guide rod kit purpose-built for the 1911 Officer's Model pistol, replacing the factory standard-length guide rod with a more robust two-piece design. The Officer's Model is widely recognized as the 1911 variant that benefits most from a full-length guide rod conversion, gaining improved slide guidance and a more rugged recoil-spring assembly over the stock configuration.

This replacement guide rod is machined from stainless steel with a silver finish for corrosion resistance and long service life. The kit includes the full-length guide rod, recoil spring, and recoil spring plug, ready to drop into a standard 1911 Officer's Model slide. The two-piece construction makes field assembly and disassembly straightforward while delivering the added mass and rigidity that a full-length rod provides.

Please note that installation on the Officer's Model or Para P12 requires slight modification to the slide, and SHOK-BUFF buffers should not be used in conjunction with this guide rod. Wilson Combat designs and manufactures this part in-house to the same quality standards as their complete 1911 pistols.
