The Williams Gunsight Co. Aluminum Slot Blank (Model 1951) is a small, drop-in accessory designed to fill and cover an empty receiver dovetail slot once an iron sight has been removed. This slot blank is precision cut to fit all standard 3/8" dovetails (the common .375" x 60 degree specification), so it drops into the same slot your original iron sight occupied.
