Its brown, weatherproof housing carries a cable-lock-ready latch for theft deterrence in remote stands, and the camera runs on 8 AA batteries (sold separately) with an external 12V DC jack that accepts a solar panel for extended deployments.

The Terra captures stills at 20 megapixels in a wide 16:9 aspect ratio, and stamps each image with the camera ID, date, moon phase, and time for full scouting context. Photos are stored to a class 4 (or higher) SDHC card up to 32GB (SDXC is not supported), and the built-in cellular transmission means you do not have to hike to the camera to check what is in front of the lens.
