The multi-slot design gives shooters the flexibility to position a scope, red dot, or other Weaver-pattern accessory at multiple mounting locations along the rail for the best eye relief and cheek weld. The base accepts any Weaver-style ring or Weaver-compatible red dot mount, making it a versatile optic platform for the Savage A22 and the closely related Savage A17.
