The Weaver Mounts 99610 Extended Multi-Slot Base is a one-piece scope base precision-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a matte black Type III hardcoat anodized coating for long-term corrosion resistance under hard field use.

This base is engineered specifically for Savage Axis I/II rifles produced after June 2021, mounting directly to the factory receiver using the rifle's 8-40 screw pattern. The extended profile adds approximately 1 inch of additional forward length over a standard base, giving shooters more mounting room and improved eye relief with longer-objective scopes.

The multi-slot top accepts both Picatinny and Weaver-style rings, and the integrated 20 MOA cant helps compensate for bullet drop at extended ranges - a useful feature for hunters and shooters who push the Axis platform past the optic's mechanical elevation limits.
