The Weaver Mounts 99502 Multi-Slot Base is an extended 1-piece scope base purpose-built for Remington 700 and Howa 1500 long action rifles. Manufactured from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, it carries a matte Type III hard coat anodized black finish for excellent corrosion and wear resistance in the field.

The integrated 20 MOA of cant tilts the optic's line of sight upward, freeing up extra internal elevation travel in your scope for extreme long-range shots where bullet drop would otherwise run out of turret adjustment. The extended profile also adds usable rail length forward of the action, giving more flexibility in eye relief and ring spacing.

The multi-slot top is fully Picatinny and Weaver compatible, so it accepts any standard Picatinny-spec or traditional Weaver ring set (rings sold separately). The base mounts directly to the receiver for a secure, no-slip mounting platform.
