The Weaver Mounts 99480 Extended Multi-Slot Base is a one-piece scope base machined from lightweight aluminum and finished in a tough black anodized coating, purpose-built to fit the Winchester Model 70 Long Action rifle receiver.

The extended profile adds an extra inch of forward length beyond a standard base, giving shooters more flexibility when mounting longer scopes, red dots, or laser optics that need additional rail space. The multi-slot top accepts both Picatinny and Weaver-style rings, so this base pairs with virtually any modern optic ring system on the market today.

Machined to tight tolerances for a precise custom fit to the Model 70 receiver, the base installs directly to the rifle's drilled and tapped holes. Rings are not included and are sold separately, allowing you to select the ring height and style that best match your chosen optic.
