Weaver Mounts 48400 Multi-Slot Base Extended Black Aluminum Savage Axis I/II Post-June 2021

The Weaver 48400 Multi-Slot Base is an extended one-piece scope base purpose-built for Savage Axis and Savage Axis II rifles produced after June 2021 (8-40 screw pattern). Precision-machined from tough, lightweight aluminum and finished in black, this rail is engineered to handle heavy recoil without weighing down the rifle.

The multi-slot design accepts all Weaver Top Mount Rings and Weaver cross-lock rings, giving you the flexibility to mount a wide variety of scopes, red dots, and other optics. The extended length adds forward mounting room for larger objective lenses and extra eye relief adjustment. Installation is direct to the receiver using 8-40 screws torqued to 18 in lbs per Weaver specifications. This listing is for the base only; rings are sold separately.
