The Weaver Mounts 48070 Top Mount Base (Series 70) is a one-piece scope base machined to tight tolerances from aluminum with a black finish, purpose-built for the Remington 7, 600, 660, XP-100 and XR-100 rifles. At 8.10" long, this top-mount base bolts directly to the rifle receiver and provides the rock-solid Weaver cross-lock platform for mounting a wide variety of Weaver-style rings and optics.

Engineered to deliver maximum strength so rings hold tight under hard recoil, the #70 base accepts Weaver Top Mount rings and any compatible rings built around the Weaver footprint. The single-piece design simplifies installation and improves alignment over the receiver, and mounting screws are included so you can head to the range right out of the box.
