The Weaver 48043 Top Mount Base is a precision-machined 1-piece scope base engineered for mounting optics to the receiver of classic Remington firearms. Built from lightweight aluminum and finished in a durable gloss black coating, this Weaver base is machined to tight tolerances for a custom fit and offers maximum strength for rings to hold tight under repeated recoil.

Designed in the standard Weaver-style top mount configuration, this base accepts any standard Weaver-style ring set (rings sold separately) for versatile optic mounting. Installation screws are included. The 1-piece base mounts directly to the receiver and is purpose-built to fit the following Remington models:
