Engineered specifically for the Remington 514 and Remington 550, the #12 also works as a compatible front or rear base on the Winchester 74. Aluminum construction keeps weight to a minimum while delivering the rigidity needed to hold zero under recoil, and the precision-machined slots accept Weaver Top Mount and See-Thru rings without slop.

Weaver recommends installing the base with the following torque values: 15 in-lbs on 6-48 screws and 18 in-lbs on 8-40 screws. Use only Weaver Top Mount or See-Thru rings for proper engagement with the base's slot pattern.
