The Weaver 40A Top Mount Base is a 1-piece Weaver-style scope base machined from aluminum to tight tolerances for a custom fit on the receiver. Designed for BSA, Colt, and Remington rifles, this top mount base gives rings a solid, repeatable platform to clamp onto, so mounted optics hold zero under recoil and field use.

Finished in a low-glare matte black to cut reflection behind the scope, the base is built around the long-standing Weaver ring system and works with a wide range of See-Thru and top mount ring heights. It is made in the USA and intended for direct receiver mounting; rings are sold separately.
