Weatherby Vanguard Weatherguard Full Size 270 Win 24 in 5+1 Bolt-Action Rifle

The Weatherby Vanguard Weatherguard is a full-size bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .270 Winchester. Built around Weatherby's proven Vanguard action, this rifle carries a 5+1 capacity via a detachable box magazine and is equipped with a two-stage trigger and a 3-position safety.

The 24" cold hammer forged barrel is finished in satin stainless steel and comes threaded at 1/2x28 for the easy addition of a suppressor or muzzle device. The satin stainless steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting, and the rifle ships from the factory with no iron sights installed, leaving the shooter free to mount their preferred optic.

The Weatherguard synthetic stock is finished in a Black/Gray color scheme and is designed for dependable all-weather field use. The rifle measures 44.5" overall, weighs 7.50 lbs, and features a 1:10" twist rate well-suited to a broad range of .270 Win bullet weights for hunting medium to large game.

Like every Vanguard, the Weatherguard is backed by Weatherby's SUB-MOA accuracy guarantee, promising 3-shot groups of .99" or less at 100 yards from a cold barrel when paired with Weatherby factory or other premium-grade ammunition.
