The Weatherby Vanguard Weatherguard Bronze is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in the long-range 7mm PRC cartridge. Built on Weatherby's proven Vanguard platform with a stainless steel barreled action and a corrosion-resistant Burnt Bronze Cerakote finish, the Weatherguard Bronze is designed to perform in adverse weather conditions.

At the heart of the rifle is a 24-inch hammer-forged barrel that is threaded 1/2x28 for suppressor or muzzle device attachment and rifled with a 1:8" twist to stabilize the heavy-for-caliber bullet weights the 7mm PRC was designed around. The stainless steel receiver ships with no iron sights installed, leaving the action ready to be paired with your preferred optic and mount. Weatherby backs the barreled action with a Sub-MOA accuracy guarantee.

Internally, the action uses a smooth bolt with an M-16 style extractor for positive case extraction. A crisp two-stage trigger is factory adjustable down to 2.5 lbs for a clean break, and the 3-position safety lets the shooter safely unload with the bolt open or run the action locked closed. The rifle feeds from an internal 3-round hinged floorplate magazine for a 3+1 total capacity with one in the chamber.

The black synthetic Monte Carlo stock features a raised comb for proper cheek weld and eye alignment behind a mounted scope.
