Weatherby Vanguard Synthetic Compact 7mm-08 Rem 20" 4+1 Bolt-Action Rifle

The Weatherby Vanguard Synthetic Compact is a lightweight bolt-action hunting rifle, offered here in brand new factory condition. Designed for shooters who want a short, fast-handling package without sacrificing accuracy, it is chambered in 7mm-08 Remington and joins Weatherby's value-oriented Vanguard line with the SUB-MOA accuracy guarantee the platform is built around.

The rifle is built around a 20" #1 contour barrel with a matte blued finish and a threaded muzzle ready for a suppressor or muzzle device. The barrel is paired with a matte blued drilled-and-tapped stainless steel receiver, ready to accept the buyer's preferred scope base and rings. A 1:9.5" twist rate is well-suited to the bullet weights most commonly loaded for the 7mm-08 Rem cartridge.

A bolt action feeds an internal box magazine that gives the rifle a 4+1 capacity. An adjustable two-stage match trigger allows the shooter to fine-tune pull weight and creep, and a three-position safety lets the operator safely unload the chamber while keeping the bolt closed. Iron sights are not included, leaving the top of the receiver clean for an optic of the shooter's choice.

The black synthetic stock uses a quick-change spacer system that lets length of pull be adjusted to fit a wide range of shooters, and the compact configuration keeps overall length between 39" and 40". At 6.50 lbs, the rifle is light enough to carry all day in the field while still being steady on the bench or at the range. The right-hand stock is set up for right-handed shooters.
