The Weatherby Vanguard Sporter carries on Weatherby's classic walnut-stocked heritage in a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in the powerful 6.5-300 Wby Mag — a 6.5mm magnum introduced by Weatherby in 2016 for long-range hunting and precision shooting. This full-size Sporter pairs traditional styling with the proven Vanguard action and is backed by Weatherby's sub-MOA accuracy guarantee.

At the core of the rifle is a 26" #2 contour barrel with a 1:8" twist, finished in matte bead-blasted bluing and threaded at the muzzle with a target crown. The action is built around a stainless steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for scope bases, and the Sporter ships with no iron sights installed, ready to accept your optic of choice.

The adjustable two-stage match trigger delivers a clean, crisp pull with user-tunable pull weight, while the three-position safety provides a safe carry option for loaded-chamber carry. The rifle feeds from an internal box magazine with a 3+1 capacity and is configured for right-hand operation.
