The Weatherby Vanguard Sporter is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in the high-velocity 257 Weatherby Magnum, built around Weatherby's proven Vanguard action and dressed in classic walnut-and-blued styling for hunters who want both field performance and traditional looks.

At the heart of this Sporter configuration is a 24-inch #2 contour barrel finished in matte bead-blasted blued steel, factory threaded at the muzzle for a brake or other accessory. The barrel is paired with a matte blued drilled-and-tapped steel receiver ready for scope base mounting and feeds through an internal box magazine with a 3+1 capacity.

Shooters benefit from a crisp, adjustable Match two-stage trigger and a traditional 3-position safety for confident handling in the field.
