The Weatherby Vanguard Outfitter is a full-size bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in the modern 7mm PRC cartridge. The full-length configuration pairs a 26-inch barrel with a 3+1 capacity, giving hunters and long-range shooters an extended sight radius and added muzzle velocity without stepping up to a heavy-barrel tactical profile.

The barrel is finished in matte Black Cerakote for corrosion resistance in wet and rough backcountry conditions, and it is both fluted to help shed weight and threaded at the muzzle so a suppressor or muzzle brake can be installed. The barreled action sits in a drilled and tapped steel receiver ready for your preferred scope bases, and the rifle wears a tan with brown and white sponge synthetic Monte Carlo stock that handles weather, hard use, and rough carry without complaint.

The Vanguard action runs a 1:8" twist rate that pairs well with the heavy-for-caliber, high-ballistic-coefficient projectiles the 7mm PRC was designed around, supporting the long-range, wind-bucking performance the cartridge is known for.
