Weatherby Vanguard Obsidian 6.5 Creedmoor 22" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle

The Weatherby Vanguard Obsidian is a precision bolt-action rifle chambered in the long-range favorite 6.5 Creedmoor, pairing the proven Vanguard action with a cold hammer-forged, threaded barrel and a tough all-weather synthetic stock.

Up front, a 22" #2 contour barrel is cold hammer-forged for accuracy and finished in Blued. It is threaded 1/2x28 so a muzzle brake or suppressor can be installed directly, and it is paired with a drilled and tapped stainless steel receiver finished in blued and ready to accept optics. The Vanguard line is backed by Weatherby's SUB-MOA accuracy guarantee, making the Obsidian a natural fit for hunters and long-range shooters alike.

The action runs an M16-style extractor and is controlled by an adjustable two-stage match trigger for a crisp, repeatable break. A 3-position safety lets the operator unload the chamber safely, and a 1:8 rate-of-twist stabilizes the full spectrum of 6.5 Creedmoor bullet weights.

A black synthetic Monte Carlo stock sheds weather and recoil-handling duty, giving the rifle an overall length of 42" at a manageable carry weight of 7.40 lbs. Magazine capacity is 4+1, and the rifle ships without iron sights so the buyer can mount a scope directly to the receiver.
