The Weatherby Vanguard Obsidian is a value-priced bolt-action rifle chambered in the legendary 300 Wthby Mag cartridge, built around the proven Vanguard action and finished in a subdued matte blue throughout.

This full-size configuration pairs a 24" cold hammer forged #2 contour barrel that comes threaded for a muzzle device or suppressor with a blued, drilled, and tapped steel receiver ready for optic mounting. The 1:10" twist rate stabilizes a wide range of magnum bullet weights for hunting and long-range shooting, and the action uses an M16-style extractor for reliable case extraction in the field.

The rifle feeds from an internal 3+1 box magazine and is paired with an adjustable two-stage match trigger and a traditional three-position safety that allows the bolt to be cycled with the safety engaged.

A black Monte Carlo synthetic stock provides a weather-resistant, stable shooting platform with a classic right-hand cheekpiece, complementing the matte blued metalwork for an all-weather hunting profile. Overall length measures 44.5" and weight is approximately 7.4 lbs.
