The Weatherby Vanguard Obsidian is a purpose-built hunting rifle chambered in the flat-shooting .257 Weatherby Magnum. It pairs a blued stainless steel drilled-and-tapped receiver with a cold hammer-forged 24" #2 contour threaded barrel and a black synthetic Monte Carlo stock that shrugs off weather and rough handling in the field.

A two-stage adjustable match trigger and 3-position safety deliver refined control, while an M16-style extractor and internal box magazine provide reliable function and a 3+1 round capacity. The 1:10 twist stabilizes the full range of .257 Weatherby Magnum bullet weights, and the 1/2x28 threaded muzzle accepts a brake or suppressor. At 44.50" overall and 7.40 lbs, the Vanguard Obsidian is a comfortable carry on long stalks. No iron sights are included, leaving the receiver clear for the optic of your choice.
