The Weatherby Vanguard Obsidian is a full-size bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 25-06 Remington, built around the proven Vanguard action and backed by Weatherby's SUB-MOA accuracy guarantee. This configuration pairs a cold hammer-forged, #2 contour, 24-inch steel barrel finished in matte bluing with a factory-threaded muzzle, so it is ready out of the box for a suppressor or muzzle brake.

The barreled action sits in a black Monte Carlo synthetic stock designed for weather resistance and steady handling in the field. An adjustable two-stage match trigger delivers a clean, crisp break, while a three-position safety provides familiar bolt-action control. The action uses an M16-style extractor and mates to a drilled and tapped stainless steel receiver finished in bluing, ready to accept scope bases.

With a 5+1 capacity and a 1:10" twist rate well suited to a broad range of 25-06 bullet weights, the rifle ships without iron sights so the shooter can configure their preferred optic. Overall length is 44.50" and the rifle carries at 7.50 lbs, making it a balanced, full-size field rifle.
