The Weatherby Vanguard Obsidian is a full-size bolt-action rifle chambered in 223 Rem, built around Weatherby's proven Vanguard action and backed by the company's SUB-MOA accuracy guarantee. At its core is a 24" cold hammer-forged barrel with a #2 contour, finished in matte blued steel and threaded at the muzzle for easy suppressor or muzzle-device fitment.

The action sits in a stainless steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for scope bases, giving shooters a rock-solid optics platform. Feeding is handled by an internal box magazine with a 5+1 capacity. The rifle wears a weather-resistant black synthetic Monte Carlo stock designed to provide a stable cheek weld and steady sight picture across long sessions at the bench or in the field.
