Weatherby Vanguard Compact Hunter 308 Win 20" 5+1 Bolt-Action Rifle

The Weatherby Vanguard Compact Hunter in 308 Win is a compact, length-of-pull-adjustable bolt-action rifle that brings the Vanguard platform into a shorter, lighter configuration without giving up the features that define the line. At its core sits a 20" stainless steel barrel paired with a stainless steel receiver finished in Tungsten Gray Cerakote, and the rifle ships with Weatherby's Accubrake recoil-reducing muzzle brake installed on the threaded barrel.

The Monte Carlo synthetic stock wears a Black base with Gray and Orange sponge-pattern accents, pairing a classic hunting profile with weather-resistant construction for use in rough field conditions. Feeding comes from a detachable box magazine giving a 5+1 capacity, and the action uses a one-piece machined bolt body with a fluted bolt. The rifle weighs 6.50 lbs and measures 39" to 40" overall depending on the length-of-pull setting.

Shooter controls include an adjustable two-stage match trigger for a clean, crisp break and a 3-position safety that lets the rifle be loaded or unloaded with the safety engaged. The barrel is cut with a 1:10" twist to stabilize a wide range of 308 Win bullet weights.
