The Weatherby Vanguard Badlands brings Weatherby's flagship bolt-action platform to the field chambered in 7mm Rem Mag and dressed in the popular Badlands Approach camouflage. As the first production rifle to wear the Approach pattern, the Vanguard Badlands uses adaptive coloration designed to break up the rifle's outline across open-country, sagebrush flats, and timbered draws alike.
At its core is Weatherby's proven Vanguard bolt action built around a drilled and tapped stainless steel receiver. The crisp adjustable two-stage match trigger is tunable to the shooter's preferred break, and the rear tang carries a 3-position safety. The 24" barrel is finished in low-glare Burnt Bronze Cerakote and cut in the Weatherby #2 thread pattern so a compatible muzzle device or suppressor can be fitted directly. The barrel is rifled at a 1:9.5" twist to stabilize the full range of magnum bullet weights.
Feeding is handled by a 3+1 capacity magazine, and the rifle ships without iron sights - the drilled and tapped receiver accepts standard Weatherby Vanguard scope bases to mount the optic of choice. The right-hand Monte Carlo synthetic stock incorporates a raised comb to deliver a proper cheek weld behind a scoped optic or red dot. Measuring 44.5" overall and weighing 7.5 lbs, the Vanguard Badlands strikes a solid balance between a packable backcountry profile and a steady hold for longer magnum shots.
Tough, accurate, and ready for the western hunter, the Vanguard Badlands pairs Weatherby's magnum performance with a camouflaged stock and threaded Cerakote barrel that performs in rough weather and rugged terrain.
