The Weatherby Vanguard Badlands is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and finished in the popular Badlands Approach camouflage pattern - the first production rifle to wear that adaptive coloration. It pairs a Burnt Bronze Cerakote finish on the action and barrel with a synthetic Monte Carlo stock featuring a raised comb for a proper cheek weld behind the scope.
At the heart of the rifle is the proven Vanguard action, anchored by a 22" #2 contour threaded barrel. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optic mounting, and the barrel is cut with a 1:8" twist to stabilize the wide range of 6.5 Creedmoor bullet weights. A fluted bolt body, 3-position safety, and adjustable two-stage match trigger round out the action.
The right-hand synthetic stock carries the Badlands Approach camo across its surface. A hinged floorplate feeds the internal 4+1 capacity, giving hunters a snag-free field magazine without the bulk of an external detachable box. At 42" overall and 7.40 lbs, the Vanguard Badlands is sized for field carry.
The receiver is machined from stainless steel for corrosion resistance in the field. This rifle ships without iron sights and is intended to be set up with optics using the drilled and tapped receiver. The threaded muzzle accepts a suppressor or muzzle brake, making it ready to run suppressed or with a tunable brake.
