The Weatherby Sorix is a purpose-built bolt-action shotgun chambered in 20 Gauge with a 3" chamber for magnum waterfowl loads. The full-size configuration pairs a 28" vent-rib barrel with a drilled and tapped steel receiver ready for optic mounting, giving hunters a hard-hitting, fast-handling platform for late-season birds.

The Sorix feeds from a fixed internal magazine holding 2+1 rounds and is choked with the Benelli Crio Plus pattern for reliable shot patterns. Up front, the LPA fiber-optic front sight sits on the rib for a clean sight picture, and the crossbolt safety keeps the action control right where you expect it. Weatherby cuts the receiver with an aggressive competition profile to speed up reloads and dresses the action with oversized controls - bolt release, charging handle, and crossbolt safety are all built to be operated with gloves.

The Mossy Oak Bottomland camouflage wrap on the fixed synthetic stock and forearm breaks up the gun's silhouette in flooded timber and late-season cover. The stock is set up ambidextrously with an adjustable shim system for length-of-pull and cast fit, so the gun can be tuned to a wide range of shooters without swapping stocks. Overall length is 49" and the Sorix tips the scales at 6.50 lbs for a balanced carry in the marsh.
