Loaded to a muzzle velocity of 3050 fps and producing 3718 ft lbs of muzzle energy, the 28 Nosler case has a maximum length of 3.34" and uses the standard .284" (7.2mm) bullet diameter. The 28 Nosler cartridge entered production in 2015 as a 7mm magnum option.
